- Carbon labelling in this article is being displayed as a huge success story - apparently nine out of 10 UK households bought a carbon-labelled product in the past 12 months! How many of those people bought it for that purpose though? Hardly any I'm sure, no doubt I have inadvertently bought a carbon-labelled product in the past year and am being labelled a sustainable consumer as well.

- this talks about the importance of brands and how brands hugely influence our consumption patterns. Off the point a little, when buying clothes everyone criticises Gap, Primark and others for poor working conditions and wages in their factories. So if someone decides to never shop at these stores again out of principle, is there a more sustainable and socially responsible alternative in clothing?
